This session will revolve around how women Education can empower women in India. Women empowerment, both in business and government, represents perhaps the most consequential long-term opportunity to promote sustainable development, democracy and economic growth.
Without women education, holistic development of society is incomplete. After all it has been rightly said—“Educate a man and you educate an individual; educate a woman and you educate a family”. It is necessary to provide viable tools to women to overcome the societal barriers in their journey to empowerment. With women education, a new generation of business women, community leaders and women policy makers is created which is imperative for the economic development of the country. This session would consider themes like how education can play a vital role in bringing about the desirable changes in society among women and equip them in terms of competence, capacity and credit.
